Firecastle Artisan Grocers & Café

Firecastle opened in September 2020 as an artisan grocer, bakery, café, delicatessen & gift shop with ten boutique guest bedrooms. Our shop can only be described as a “food lovers paradise”. Inside, you’ll find the smell of fresh bread and coffee, shelves stocked with the best of Irish artisan produce, along with fresh flowers, Irish-made ceramics, and carefully chosen candles and gifts.

The Rooms at Firecastle

Our 10 boutique guest rooms are decorated in either a blush pink or a deep teal. High ceilings and picture windows flood the building with natural light. The rooms’ first floor location offers a stunning elevated view of St Brigid’s Cathedral. Each guest room has ensuite toilet and shower facilities, tea/coffee and Wi-Fi as standard. Although our accommodation is sold on a room only basis no guest at Firecastle could ever go hungry with an array of freshly prepared breakfast delights on offer daily from our Café. Best of all residents of The Rooms at Firecastle can enjoy a 10% discount in store!

There are lots of other things to see and do nearby including a shopping trip to Kildare Village Outlet shopping which is located just 5 minutes walk from Firecastle – residents can also get a 10% VIP discount at Kildare Village.

Dew Drop Brewhouse Beers

Since September 2019 we have been brewing beer for our local community. Our sole aim is to produce premium quality local beer, at affordable prices, to customers of our gastropubs and for our patrons of Firecastle. Always striving for better, and under the direction of Head Brewer Dean Maquire we will keep producing our core products but also bring out more seasonal & interesting beers for all to try.
